This is perhaps the last work you'll see from me for a while, for winter break has me scurrying about. I couldn't think of a background for the lady, so I mixed it up and fashioned her one out of scrapbook paper. I've been trying to do more paper cut-outs, but they fail, seeing as how I hate cutting things out.
Not sure what this piece has to say...it's 11:30 pm now and I'm tired and excited because my dear friend Larkin is back from Japan and I get to see her in the morning.
The cat's leg is part mechanical, and those are betta fish in the ornaments. Wouldn't that make an awesome Christmas tree? Live fish?
Awesome yet horribly cruel. I love her arms and shoulders! I don't know why. Also, is that a nose piercing with a chain attached to...an earring? Very strange/awesome. That cat should have a parrot on its shoulder. I want that choker, though you'd have to have people read the time on it for you. Or look in a mirror? It isn't very practical but it's totally cool.
I really, really like this one :3 I dunno... background just really seems to make her pop. And I love the cat so much. I'm going to steal that chain-nose-ear thing from you. Well, you're going to make it for me XD Her hair = awesome and yes, that would make the coolest christmas tree evah. <3
If you put bamboo into the ornaments, then the fish could get oxygen and the plants would get food! Perfect!
Like I told Larkin, the inspiration for that nose-chain: http: //saly-ersch.deviantart.com/art/Sal-4-82407603
Haha. I'll make you the choker. It would be awesome. Who cares if it's practical? Haha. I was going to topple more animals onto the cat, or make it a goat and a monkey, but that didn't work out. A goat would be rather heavy to carry on your arm.
Yes, she would have to be pretty buff to have anything bigger than a cat sitting there. Wouldn't that be hard to make? You could maybe crochet something and then hook a watch face in there. I don't know.

Project Comment is a project that features the generally obscured and underappreciated artists and their art in regular news articles. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments.
The 0-5 Comments Issues feature a deviant as well as 3 deviations with less than 5 original comments from a wide selection of art. Please give your time to this article and to write constructive comments so that you make a true difference to the artists featured here.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

This is where I got the idea for the nose chain. This girl is gorgeous: [link]
I was going to put a goat on her arm with a monkey on top of the goat, but it wasn't working. Cats are more elegant.
